NEW ENERGY NEW GENERATION (NENG)

About NENG

The "New Energy New Generation 2024" and "New Energy Vehicle Week" events are organized by the Engineering Discipline of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE). Since their inception in 2017, the events have been held three times and have become a flagship annual solar car competition for secondary school students in Hong Kong. The aim is to provide students with valuable hands-on experiences, allowing them to engage in the entire process—from theory to practice, design to assembly, and testing to optimization. Ultimately, students create unique solar-powered vehicles to showcase their skills and creativity on the race track.

The events also feature a series of activities centered on technology, learning, innovation, and engineering, inspiring the younger generation to explore the effective use of new energy. We are dedicated to building a platform for students to apply their knowledge to innovative engineering projects, ignite their interest in scientific research, and nurture their innovative and practical abilities.

Company Experienece

Global Pacific Group has extensive experience in electric vehicle manufacturing and STEAM education, offering comprehensive professional guidance to students in areas ranging from exterior design, aerodynamics, and power dynamics to battery management and solar energy systems. Students are thoroughly taught how to build the most energy-efficient electric vehicles. Under expert supervision, students actively participate in the production process, experiencing the joy of technological innovation while applying their knowledge from secondary school curricula (e.g., design and technology, information and communication technology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics) in real-world projects, laying a solid foundation for their future in engineering.

Additionally, our company collaborates with STEM.ORG. Upon completion of the activities, all participating students will receive international certificates issued by STEM.ORG and engineering instructor certificates issued by our company. These certificates recognize students' hard work and achievements, enhancing their "Other Learning Experiences" (OLE) and providing valuable support for their future academic and career development.
